    Own Gravity

Own Gravity is about the private centre of weight every person carries: the things that draw them in, the things they keep circling back to, the things that leave them cold. Own Gravity is about the private centre of weight every person carries: the things that draw them in, the things they keep circling back to, the things that leave them cold. Two people can stand in the same room and be held by entirely different forces.

Across a wide stretch of pink, sprayed clouds of red over blue and violet gather on the left, a warm orange yellow sits on the right, and between them float a spot of green, a grey haze and small bursts of purple. Single letters drift in between. None of these elements touch. Each keeps to its own orbit, and yet the composition feels complete, the way a constellation does. Large areas of the canvas are left open, which keeps the work generous and lets it hold a wall on its own.
